Turk (Robert De Niro)
and Rooster (Al Pacino) are partners in the NYPD Homicide Division. They have 30
years of service investigating murders, and before they pull the pin, they want
to solve their last big case. The city has a serial killer who is targeting
criminals who have fallen through the cracks of the judicial system and have
gotten away with rape, murder, and other heinous crimes. The serial killer
believes that he is helping the police by taking the scum of the earth out of
society for good, never to hurt any law abiding citizens again. The serial
killer shoots the criminal at very close-range and leaves a four-line poem
justifying the execution. Turk and Rooster want to give this person a medal, but
instead, they must arrest him before he kills again.

The 99th Annual
Banquet and Awards ceremony is set for Friday, Nov. 21, at the New York Athletic
Club, so mark your calendar now to join in the excitement. Ticket pricing this
year is $150 per person. The keynote speaker has not been finalized.

Technical
Symposium
This year's RCA Technical Symposium starts at 2:00 PM, and
is loaded with presentations. "Wireless Telecommunications Requirements of
Critical Infrastructure Providers" is the tentative title of a presentation set
to be presented jointly by Mark Madden (Global Practice Leader,
Alcatel-Lucent Business Communication Strategy Consulting) and Kelly
McNair (manager of the Engineering and Operations/Telecom group of
Oncor Electric Delivery). Mark will focus his portion of the talk on potential
solutions the industry could develop to assist these providers.
Another
presentation is tentatively titled "Future Evolution of Cellular
Telecommunications", and it will be presented by Ken Budka from
Bell Labs (now a part of Alcatel-Lucent), and more.
A multi-faceted
demonstration showing how antennas work will be presented by Dale
Clement. His engagement was made with the help of Ray
Minichiello, and this presentation is sponsored by Radio Waves, Inc. Ray characterizes this demonstration as
"truly impressive".
These speakers
were lined up with the help of Roger Madden, Mark Madden, and Ray Minichiello.
